my name is ethan "clancy" turgeon, im a hobbyist programmer

i was into programming all of my life to some degree, first with scratch where you can make games with drag and drop blocks
in 2023 i took interest to making addons for the game garrys mod, a mod of half life 2 that is meant to be modded itself even further
i enjoyed it enough to look into making full games, i found the godot game engine and have since spent over 500 hours using

i am pretty comfortable with lua, gdscript, python, javascript, and html
i understand programming fundementals and am quick to pick up new languages or use systems

to give some meaning to that, there are hundreds of addons uploaded every week competing for 1 of 9 available spots on the front page
